Our residents love our chef and he loves them. A Cordon Bleu graduate, his mouth-watering menus are a real treat. Residents especially love his bread pudding. Join his weekly roundtable and offer up feedback and recipes.

The most popular outing is monthly casino night at the Winstar Casino in Oklahoma. Residents also enjoy biweekly shopping trips in North and South Denton, as well as attending sports games and exploring museums. Our monthly “Lunch Bunch,” trips to resident-selected restaurants.

Dogwood Estates is equipped with WiFi access to help you stay connected throughout common areas. You can use community desktop computers to stay up to date, or you can connect your personal devices to the WiFi.

The exclusive Travel & Stay program offers residents exciting opportunities to travel around the country, with free stays of up to seven days at any of Holiday Retirement’s more than 260 communities. Three chef-prepared meals are included with each trip. Visit all 43 states or just choose a favorite new location or two.

Many residents find a sense of fulfillment in donating their time and skills to a cause close to their hearts. Residents love to join together and support the Local Angel trees program. We also have outside volunteers come into the community to visit with residents and help out.

We have empowered residents to become resident ambassadors. These individuals have often lived in the community for quite some time and enjoy helping new residents get acclimated to senior living. They encourage new residents to take their time settling in and them feel comfortable in their new home.
