Flexibility to Customize Your Care at The Regent

Residents appreciate the freedom and flexibility our independent living communities offer as needs around personal care and medical assistance change. Choosing a la carte from third-party health care and personal care providers* -- many with offices right inside the community -- gives them the power to choose their providers and obtain similar services as they would in a higher level of care like assisted living, but without giving up the independence, warm community of friends, and fun-loving atmosphere they enjoy so much.

Beauty Care Needs Met On-Site

The convenience of The Regent's on-site beauty salon and barber means all you have to do is walk in to get your hair and nails done. Of course, appointments are available.

Outside clients are welcome into the salon, they always end up making friends with the residents. We have a massage therapist who comes in once a month, and a podiatrist comes in for those who need toe treatments.

Fitness Right at Home

The Regent residents enjoy a variety of health and fitness activities, from weekly group exercise classes to anytime access to on-site fitness equipment.

There's a group that gathers every morning to walk around the property. Exercise while enjoying time with friends is always a win! We have fitness classes 5 times per week, focusing on every part of the body.

Let Us Serve You

Enjoy restaurant-style dining served with courtesy and caring by our staff who know you. Chef-prepared meals are served every day in The Regent's dining room. Sit with friends or invite your family for a special occasion in our private dining room. Each meal is designed to meet the unique nutritional needs of community members.

Our Chef is certified as an Instructor for Portland’s Cordon Bleu Cooking School, he has also won many honorary awards for his cooking throughout Europe and the U.S.

There's a monthly roundtable where the chef gets resident feedback, and everyone works together to put forth the best menu possible. The chef features resident's own recipes in meals regularly. While there are so many delicious dishes, a few resident favorites are, BBQ Ribs, Stew, Lasagna, Roast Beef, and Veggie Omelettes.

Make Memories Exploring the Surrounding Community

There’s so much to explore in the Corvallis area and The Regent makes sure that residents experience as much as possible. Regular outings to favorite restaurants, local events, and more introduce residents to all their neighborhood has to offer and connect them to the surrounding community.

Residents love taking trips to love going to the coast, casinos, festivals, country drives during the different seasons, and Christmas tours when the time is right!

Life is Never Boring

The Regent's comprehensive calendar is packed with both recurring activities and special events. The variety of available activities is meant to enrich the whole person by stimulating physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, creative, social or vocational wellness.

We have a special herb garden that the residents take care of, and the Chef uses the fresh herbs in the dishes all the time. There's a beautiful flower garden residents care for as well during the spring and summer months.

We have themed Tea Socials every month, weekly Trivia, Social, Educational Talks by Our Residents, and TED Talks. Sporting events are big around here, everyone gathers to cheer on the local team! We have one resident that used to be on the radio, and has a great old record collection we like to play.

Pets Make Life Better

Furry friends are welcomed as residents at The Regent. We understand how important the companionship and bond that seniors share with their pets. We’re delighted to have cats, dogs, birds, and even bunnies as part of our community.

We have therapy animals that come in weekly to specific residents, and monthly to the community. Don't worry if you don't have your own pet, we have a Shiatzu that belongs to a resident, but she's been adopted by the community as our mascot! She gets plenty of attention and treats!

We have three foster parakeets from the Exotic Bird Rescue of Oregon in our community, residents care for them, everyone enjoys them! We also have special nesting boxes that our residents watch and take care of every spring.

Stay Connected With Technology and WiFi

The Regent is equipped with WiFi access to help you stay connected throughout common areas. You can use a community desktop computer to stay up to date or connect your personal devices to the WiFi.

Three chef-prepared meals are included with each trip. Visit all 43 states or just choose a favorite new location or two.

Lend a Helping Hand

Many residents find a sense of fulfillment in donating their time and skills to a cause close to their hearts.

We have empowered residents to become resident ambassadors. These individuals have often lived in the community for quite some time and enjoy helping new residents get acclimated to senior living. They encourage new residents to take their time settling in and them feel comfortable in their new home.

We support the local Cancer Center across from our community with hats and lap blankets our knitting group makes. Residents organize clothing and school supply drives for the local Children’s Orphanage.

There's a very special family that often comes to the community weekly to volunteer at our events, in addition to our own residents who volunteer their time as well.
