Beauty Care Needs Met On-Site

The convenience of Creekside Terrace’s on-site beauty salon and barber means all you have to do is walk in to get your hair and nails done. Of course, appointments are available.

Fitness Right at Home

Creekside Terrace residents enjoy a variety of health and fitness activities, from weekly group exercise classes to anytime access to on-site fitness equipment.

Many residents take part in the daily walking club or individual classes like yoga and tai-chi. Our fitness area is larger than most of the other communities and there are more machines, an Alexa activated 50" TV, a water fountain and vending machine. There's also an on-site physical therapist available for appointments.

Let Us Serve You

Enjoy restaurant-style dining served with courtesy and caring by our staff who know you. Chef-prepared meals are served every day in Creekside Terrace’s dining room. Sit with friends or invite your family for a special occasion in our private dining room. Each meal is designed to meet the unique nutritional needs of community members.

The chef has won the Holiday regional award for 3 months straight and hosts weekly roundtables with residents for a collaborative feeling about the menu - evident by the daily "residents choice." Filet mignon, salmon, and chili are resident favorites.

Make Memories Exploring the Surrounding Community

There’s so much to explore in the Winston-Salem area and Creekside Terrace makes sure that residents experience as much as possible. Regular outings to favorite restaurants, local events, and more introduce residents to all their neighborhood has to offer and connect them to the surrounding community.

Anyone can join the "lunch bunch," a group that goes out and tries different local restaurants. The community bus provides the transportation, there are also monthly excursions to the movie theater, craft fair, or museum.

Life is Never Boring

Creekside Terrace’s comprehensive calendar is packed with both recurring activities and special events. The variety of available activities is meant to enrich the whole person by stimulating physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, creative, social or vocational wellness.

Putt-putt and chair volleyball are more popular activities, as well as watching Panther football and basketball in the movie theater. The community is engaged with police and fire departments, teaming up for activities. A group of ladies takes care of the flower garden and plants at the entrance that everyone enjoys!

Pets Make Life Better

Furry friends are welcomed as residents at Creekside Terrace. We understand how important the companionship and bond that seniors share with their pets. We’re delighted to have cats, dogs, birds, and even bunnies as part of our community.

And if you don't have your own furry friend, Scotty the therapy dog comes to visit often. And Toby the miniature poodle, one of the residents' dogs, has been adopted as the "community dog." There's also a stray cat named Ms. Kitty that comes around and has been embraced by the community as their own too.

Stay Connected With Technology and WiFi

Creekside Terrace is equipped with WiFi access to help you stay connected throughout common areas. You can use a community desktop computer to stay up to date or connect your personal devices to the WiFi.

One staff member, Coley Watson, is like the community Geek Squad. He fixes phones, tablets, computers, and answers questions residents may have.

Travel and Adventure Is Available

The exclusive Travel & Stay program offers residents exciting opportunities to travel around the country, with free stays of up to seven days at any of Holiday Retirement’s more than 260 communities. Three chef-prepared meals are included with each trip. Visit all 43 states or just choose a favorite new location or two.

Lend a Helping Hand

Many residents find a sense of fulfillment in donating their time and skills to a cause close to their hearts. Two of the charities residents are very involved with are Meals on Wheels and Alzheimers Association. Several church groups come into the community to volunteer their time as well.

We have empowered residents to become resident ambassadors. These individuals have often lived in the community for quite some time and enjoy helping new residents get acclimated to senior living. They encourage new residents to take their time settling in and them feel comfortable in their new home.
