Nutritious Dining for Seniors
Enjoy restaurant-style dining served with courtesy and caring by our staff who know you. Chef-prepared meals are served every day in Grizzly Peak’s dining room. Sit with friends or invite your family for a special occasion in our private dining room. Each meal is designed to meet the unique nutritional needs of community members.
The chef prepares mostly everything from scratch which residents love. There's also a food council where the chef asks residents for their favorite recipes so he can incorporate them into the menu.
Local Area Activities
There’s so much to explore in the Missoula area and Grizzly Peak makes sure that residents experience as much as possible. Regular outings to favorite restaurants, local events, and more introduce residents to all their neighborhood has to offer and connect them to the surrounding community.
Residents love to go out and find different restaurants with great food. Some of the fun bus excursions include trips to wineries, musicals, and places for picnics.
Social Activities for Seniors
Grizzly Peak’s comprehensive calendar is packed with both recurring activities and special events. The variety of available activities is meant to enrich the whole person by stimulating physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, creative, social or vocational wellness.
There's a comfortable and homey patio where residents love to sit and relax. Other popular activities include Wii bowling, Bingo, and Wine down events. Art classes are also available to tap into your creative side.
Pet Friendly
Furry friends are welcomed as residents at Grizzly Peak. We understand how important the companionship and bond that seniors share with their pets. We’re delighted to have cats, dogs, birds, and even bunnies as part of our community.
Occasionally service dogs come to the community for a visit which everybody loves.
Community Technology
Grizzly Peak is equipped with WiFi access to help you stay connected throughout common areas. You can use a community desktop computer to stay up to date or connect your personal devices to the WiFi.
Volunteers come to the community regularly to teach residents more about technology and how to best use it.
Independent Senior Travel
The exclusive Travel & Stay program offers residents exciting opportunities to travel around the country, with free stays of up to seven days at any of Holiday Retirement’s more than 260 communities. Three chef-prepared meals are included with each trip. Visit all 43 states or just choose a favorite new location or two.
Volunteer Opportunities
Many residents find a sense of fulfillment in donating their time to a cause close to their hearts. Residents help out at the local blood bank and volunteer at the police department. Samaritan's Purse is another cause close to the community. Outside volunteers visit the community and participate in various events.
We have empowered residents to become resident ambassadors. These individuals have often lived in the community for quite some time and enjoy helping new residents get acclimated to senior living. They encourage new residents to take their time settling in and them feel comfortable in their new home.
