Beauty Care Needs Met On-Site

The convenience of Apple Blossom's on-site beauty salon and barber means all you have to do is walk in to get your hair and nails done. Of course, appointments are available.

Outside clients are welcome in to enjoy the salon services as well.

Fitness Right at Home

Apple Blossom residents enjoy a variety of health and fitness activities, from weekly group exercise classes to anytime access to on-site fitness equipment.

One of the best options for staying in good health is walking. At Apple Blossom, you can stroll along the walking trail that is about one-third of a mile long. While you walk, enjoy the view of the protected wetlands on the east side and the golf course on the north. There's also a physical therapist onsite which makes it very convenient for residents.

Let Us Serve You

Enjoy restaurant-style dining served with courtesy and caring by our staff who know you. Chef-prepared meals are served every day in Apple Blossom's dining room. Sit with friends or invite your family for a special occasion in our private dining room. Each meal is designed to meet the unique nutritional needs of community members.

The chef prepares just about everything from scratch and he truly cares about the residents. He meets with them on a regular basis to get feedback on the menu and meals. One thing everyone agrees on is that the meatloaf is phenomenal!

Make Memories Exploring the Surrounding Community

There’s so much to explore in the Rogers area and Apple Blossom makes sure that residents experience as much as possible. Regular outings to favorite restaurants, local events, and more introduce residents to all their neighborhood has to offer and connect them to the surrounding community.

We have a women’s luncheon/dinner group, a men’s luncheon/dinner group, and a community luncheon/dinner group where they each go out together monthly. Some of the other popular bus excursions are trips to the Casino, aquariums, branson shows, Eureka Springs, and ice cream shops.

Life is Never Boring

Apple Blossom’s comprehensive calendar is packed with both recurring activities and special events. The variety of available activities is meant to enrich the whole person by stimulating physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, creative, social or vocational wellness.

Residents with a green thumb love to help take care of the community garden. Sometimes the fruits of their labor even end up in the chef's meals! There's a resident writers club that meets on Mondays, run by a resident. We also do a primp/polish session every Tuesday. Bingo is a big hit, with a game held 5 days a week.

Pets Make Life Better

Furry friends are welcomed as residents at Apple Blossom. We understand how important the companionship and bond that seniors share with their pets. We’re delighted to have cats, dogs, birds, and even bunnies as part of our community.

Therapy animals sometimes come to visit the community. Residents love to play and cuddle with them. We have a protected wetland where the residents love to look at the deer that come onto the property. For residents with pets, there's ground floor pet fencing which keeps them safe and secure.

Stay Connected With Technology and WiFi

Apple Blossom is equipped with WiFi access to help you stay connected throughout common areas. You can use a community desktop computer to stay up to date or connect your personal devices to the WiFi.

We have Tech Tuesdays where staff members answer questions residents may have about their devices, and instruction on how to better use them.

Travel and Adventure Is Available

The exclusive Travel & Stay program offers residents exciting opportunities to travel around the country, with free stays of up to seven days at any of Holiday Retirement’s more than 260 communities. Three chef-prepared meals are included with each trip. Visit all 43 states or just choose a favorite new location or two.

Apple Blossom operates a program that lets residents get a taste of faraway countries. Once a month, residents can enjoy a themed happy hour with music, food, and presentations related to a new country. They also get a stamp in their community passport.

Lend a Helping Hand

Many residents find a sense of fulfillment in donating their time and skills to a cause close to their hearts. The community does coat collections for the homeless and lap blankets for the local rehab. Outside volunteers also come in to help out with various events and offer their time.

We have empowered residents to become resident ambassadors. These individuals have often lived in the community for quite some time and enjoy helping new residents get acclimated to senior living. They encourage new residents to take their time settling in and them feel comfortable in their new home.
