Who We Are
A retirement community in a quiet neighborhood but close to the action, The Gardens at Wakefield — winner of the 2022 Best of Senior Living Award — offers as much fun and relaxation as you want in your retirement years.
Within a half-mile stroll of our community, you’ll find several shopping centers, home to a wine shop, multiple markets and several restaurants, including a cozy Italian cafe. Farther along, you’ll see WakeMed North Hospital and Triangle Town Center.
Residents also enjoy all the cultural perks of living in a capital city. The community sits less than 15 miles from downtown Raleigh, giving you easy access to sites like Walnut Creek Amphitheater, the North Carolina Museum of Art, with its dazzling monument garden, and the kid-friendly dinosaurs at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and hands-on exhibits at the Marbles Kids Museum.
